When I got this thing I was impressed with how sturdy all the sides and beams are, right up until I couldnt hook the thing together because it didn't line up properly. Eventually my brother and father came over and muscled it into place. However once set up its nice. I bought a cat bed for it, so right now its just a hideaway, and the cats like it (both my cats like little enclosed areas). Be advised that it doesn't have a bottom, but with the material its made of thats probably a good thing. If it DID have a bottom and was used as a litterbox retreat it'd be next to impossible to clean the floor of it. Either as a litterbox retreat or just a hide-a-way its definitely a really cute piece. Its also cheaper than other products like this. The price seems to be fluctuating a lot. I first saw it for $80, but I waited and ended up getting it for $50 so if you're interested, you might be able to wait for the sale price to drop down again.

I thought it was wicker, and probably should've read closer, so I was disappointed to find it was made of plastic, and had that horrid plastic smell to go with it. It's not sturdy at all, and is a bit of a pain to put together. However, it does cover the litter box, but might actually make it more noticeable since it's larger than the litter box.

At first glance - putting this together was a pain - but after about two three tries and a helping hand from my husband we got it to work for us. I thought it would be more of a wood material as opposed to plastic - so gives it a cheaper appearance. Litter box isn't the full size of the litter cover, so not sure if your cats wil have this problem, but mine seem to balance on the front opening of the cover and side of the litter box, and miss the litter box and go all over the floor:( Not sure if this is confusing to them or what. The front door opening is a nice touch and allows for easy cleaning and it looks much better than you standard kitty litter box, but right now it's just not working for us. I had to put it away and revert to our original box, since the cats keep their mess in the box and not on the outside like they do in this one. Maybe I'll revert it to a kitty bed instead.

If you want a reasonably attractive way to hide the litter box, this isn't a bad option, especially for larger cats. Assembly is intuitive, which is fortunate, since the instructions were obviously not written by a native English speaker. Follow the pictures; or, if you're bilingual, go with the Spanish instructions. Another caveat: the description lead me to believe that a litter box was included--it's not. However, PetsMart sells a large litter box for about 12 bucks that fits perfectly.

This wicker litter box cover was just what I needed for my home office. I have 3 cats and I needed at least 2 litterboxes in my home. It was a little difficult for me to assemble but I did manage to do it. It is easy to clean out the litter box and looks good with my home office furniture.

Had my eye on this for awhile, and finally purchased to hide kitty litter in spare bathroom during for-sale-home-showings. Really worth every penny! Assembly instructions were a little challenging for me, and some panels were a tiny struggle to get to fit correctly. Also the faux-wicker on one panel started unraveling but I would DEFINITELY BUY AGAIN if I couldn't live with it! Kitty doesn't mind going inside and this actually keeps my tile floor much cleaner by enclosing all those little granules that fly out when she starts scratching around! Make sure you note the dimensions, because this litter cover is quite large for smaller bathrooms like mine. I don't mind though - much more attractive than looking at the box itself. I really think it "fools" people with it's furniture "look!"

I live in a small studio and the only spot I had to put the cat box was at the entrance so that's the first thing you saw when you walked in! The hideaway works great. It fits a box with a lid perfectly. I have the entrance hole pointed towards the wall so you can't even tell it's a litter box. The nice thing is that you can put a plant on it and nobody will know. I gave it 4 stars because of the material - it's has plastic feel to it rather than wicker which is what the picture shows. Other than that it's great!

Set up took a few minutes, but overall the product is pretty good. Have a 2 Gallon Fish Bowl sitting on top of it- product is sturdy enough to support the weight.

Cat likes it too.

I am satisfied with both quality and appearance of the product considering its reasonable price. I have a large cat and this litter box cover is roomy enough to accomodate her. Easy to assemble, easy to clean.

The first thing is that this is a litter box cover. There is no floor. It goes over your existing cat box. The size is perfect. The assembly is intuitive but awkward for one person. Working from the pictures is better than from the written directions. Also, this is plastic not wicker. If your cat misses the box you can take that part into the back yard and hose it off. Mine is slightly lighter in color than the pictures here, but otherwise it is identical. My cat does not like enclosed cat boxes, so this is perfect. It is private, but airy and not confining.
